Procedure for receiving and storing items in the warehouse

When our team collects items from your address and delivers them to the warehouse, the procedure of receiving, organizing, protecting, and recording begins. The goal is to precisely determine the amount of space occupied for each client, record the stored items, and provide all information related to further storage of items and payment.

The following text explains the procedure after furniture is collected and delivered to the warehouse:

1. Furniture is delivered to the warehouse and then arranged by type into one or more compact units.
2. Furniture is additionally protected by placing cardboard underneath and covering it with plastic wrap.
3. The warehouse is recorded and an ID tag is assigned.
4. The volume of space occupied by the items in the warehouse is measured in cubic meters, which is one of the main parameters for determining the storage price.
5. A colleague contacts the client to gather information needed to complete the warehouse inventory list. The client's phone number is provided by Moja Selidba employees who organized the collection and delivery of items to the warehouse.
6. The warehouse inventory list is completed and all important details related to storage are agreed upon with the client.
7. Sending important information to the client by the warehouse staff (via Viber, WhatsApp, or email, as chosen):

– Warehouse list
– Warehouse ID
– Storage rules
– Warehouse location
– Warehouse payment schedule
– Monthly invoice for the first month in advance in PDF, along with written payment instructions

Rules and conditions for using the warehouse and transporting items

Our storage service is organized as a complete process that includes item pickup, transport to the warehouse, storage, and later delivery to the final address. Due to the organization and security of the shared storage space, there are clear rules for delivering, storing, and dispatching items that apply to all clients.

• Complete service – The Moja Selidba agency provides storage services exclusively as a complete process: move to warehouse → storage → move from warehouse to final address.
• Transport is performed exclusively by Moja Selidba – Delivery of items to our warehouse, as well as their removal from the warehouse, is carried out exclusively by our team. Clients are not allowed to deliver or pick up items themselves, nor to engage another agency or third parties for this purpose.
• Partial services are not possible – It is not possible to contract only parts of the process. This includes the scenario where Moja Selidba delivers items to the warehouse, and after storage ends, only loads them into a vehicle provided by the client or another agency.
• Closed Warehouse Typeand Client Access – Our warehouse is of a closed type and the storage space is used simultaneously by multiple clients, which is why independent entry and access to belongings are not allowed. Clients can visit the warehouse only with prior notice several days in advance and accompanied by a Moja Selidba employee, so we can arrange for a colleague to meet them and provide access. Such visits are permitted solely for non-binding inspections, bringing in or taking out small items, such as bags, boxes, and similar objects. Delivery, removal, and handling of large furniture and bigger items are performed exclusively by our team. This procedure is necessary for the safety, organization, and protection of all warehouse users' property.
• Complete Service Process – When contracting storage, the client agrees that the service includes the entire process: move number 1 to the warehouse, storage, and move number 2 from the warehouse. The date, final address, and price of the second move do not need to be known or definitively set at the start of storage. We can discuss these details in advance and provide an approximate estimate if conditions are known, while the final agreement and price of the second move are determined after storage ends, i.e., when the client knows the address, date, and conditions at the final location.
• Payment for the First Move and Storage – Upon placing items into storage, the first move (move to the warehouse) and the first month of storage are paid. Subsequent storage periods are paid according to the agreed terms.
• The Second Move is NEVER Paid in Advance – The second move, i.e., transporting items from the warehouse to the final address, is not included in the price of the first move nor in the storage fee. The second move is never charged in advance when items enter the warehouse, but is billed and paid separately after storage ends, when the service is performed.
• Price of the Second Move – If conditions are the same or approximately the same as for the first move (location, floor level, elevator, building access, quantity of items, and other relevant factors), the price of the second move remains unchanged. If there are changes in location, floor level, elevator availability, building access, quantity of items, or other conditions affecting the scope of work, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
• Scheduling the Second Move – Dispatching items from the warehouse must be scheduled at least several days in advance. Same-day delivery requests cannot be guaranteed or fulfilled if existing slots are already booked.
• Safety and Service Quality – This system allows us to control the entire process and guarantee a high level of safety and service quality, from the initial pickup of items, through storage, to final delivery at the client’s address.

By accepting the storage service, the client agrees to the complete service model: MOVE 1 → STORAGE → MOVE 2.

Calculation of Storage Price and Payment Terms

Storage price is calculated based on two factors:

1. Volume of Items in Cubic Meters – The final volume is determined after arranging items in the warehouse. One cubic meter (1 m³) represents a space measuring 1 m × 1 m × 1 m.
2. Storage Period – The price depends on the number of months items are stored in our warehouse.

Additional protection of items after stacking in the warehouse, as well as materials we use for that protection – stretch film, nylon, and cardboard – are included in the storage price.

Rent is charged monthly and paid month-to-month, with the first month paid in advance. Any started month is charged as a full month.

Before organizing the move of items out of storage, all due obligations and unpaid storage invoices must be settled.
