Safe, organized, and efficient relocation of your restaurant or café in Belgrade – from the bar counter to the last chair. Our team plans and executes every phase of the move according to the specific needs of hospitality venues.
Relocating a hospitality venue is a significant logistical and organizational task that requires careful planning of every step, from the initial site inspection to final assembly at the new location. Such moves are unique due to the variety of inventory, the value and fragility of equipment, and the need to complete the process as quickly as possible with minimal business interruption. For glasses, dishes, and fragile inventory, we apply moving packing with separate protection for each delicate item.
Our restaurant and café moving service includes complete organization of the hospitality venue relocation, including professional planning, protection, and transportation of all types of furniture and equipment. Our team analyzes the needs of each venue individually, considering the layout and business flow, as well as the possibility of organizing the move outside business hours to avoid operational losses.
The most common items we transport during restaurant and café relocations include tables, chairs, bars, display cases, refrigeration units, kitchen components, coffee machines, pastry display cases, as well as decorative items like mirrors or artwork. Each category requires a specific method of protection and packing according to the materials and function of the items.
Bars and display cases are often massive, made from a combination of wood, metal, and glass. Before removal, we disassemble glass parts and carefully pack them in labeled boxes with protection. The bar structure is transported in one or multiple parts, depending on its construction. Beverage or dessert display cases are handled with special care due to their fragility and weight. Massive bars and refrigerated display cases require careful planning similar to special cargo moves.
Decorative elements, plates, glasses, and serving utensils require additional protection and labeling. All fragile items are packed in special boxes with cushioning, and valuable paintings and artworks receive extra protection.

Before every move, we conduct a thorough inspection of the venue and inventory. This includes a physical walkthrough of the restaurant or café, recording all items to be moved, and assessing the requirements for carrying and access for transport vehicles. Special attention is given to the possibility of moving large equipment (e.g., refrigerated display cases) through existing passages and doors.
Access to the venue is a crucial factor, especially in central Belgrade where access and parking are limited. During assessment, we check the possibility of parking the truck near the entrance, availability of ramps or elevators, and any city restrictions. Based on the inspection, we determine the type and size of vehicle, number of workers, and estimated duration of the move.
The inspection identifies potential challenges such as narrow passages, stairs, limited ceiling height, the need to protect floors from wear, or the requirement to use special carts and transporters for heavy equipment. Based on this, we create a detailed moving plan, including the optimal order of removal, to ensure the move proceeds without delays and with minimal disruption to the regular activities of the restaurant or café.
Equipment and inventory are labeled according to the agreed layout plan at the new location, which speeds up the unloading and assembly process. We specially mark fragile and sensitive items such as glass display cases, ceramic elements, decorations, or electronic devices. Labeling is done with clearly visible marks and stickers, allowing the team to know where each item will be unpacked already during loading.
Workers take care to protect walls, floors, and doors during carrying. Additional protective padding is used on critical spots if necessary, especially in passages where equipment exceeds standard door dimensions. In multi-level buildings, a strategy of lowering and carrying is employed to avoid damage to stairs or handrails.
Each team member has a clearly defined role to ensure the process runs efficiently and safely. For more demanding moves, a larger number of workers are engaged, further speeding up the process. If a quick relocation is needed to resume business operations, the team works in shifts to maintain continuous work until completion.
We organize moves in Belgrade through six simple steps, from a free estimate and scheduling to safe transport and completion of the move at the new address.
See all 14 steps, from the first conversation with the client to the successfully completed move.
See the move step by stepAfter loading, the cargo is carefully arranged in the vehicle to prevent shifting and potential damage during transport. Heavier items are placed at the bottom, while lighter and more delicate furniture is stacked above or to the side, with additional protective layers between individual pieces. Bars are secured along the vehicle’s side walls, and glass parts are separated and transported in an upright position.
We use tension straps and special pads to secure the cargo. Special attention is given to refrigeration and electrical appliances due to their sensitivity to shocks – these devices are additionally fixed and wrapped with materials that absorb vibrations. All equipment is arranged according to the unloading sequence, enabling faster and safer organization at the new location.
Proper securing is crucial for safe transport. If the move requires storage of items until final relocation, storage services are also available. During temporary storage of restaurant equipment, we provide space with controlled conditions to prevent deterioration or damage to materials.
Upon arrival at the new address, workers unload the equipment according to the previously agreed plan – the heaviest items such as the bar and refrigeration units are brought in first, followed by tables, chairs, and other inventory. The arrangement is done in cooperation with the client and according to a predetermined plan to expedite the reopening of the establishment.
Assembly and arrangement of equipment are carried out according to the client's instructions. Disassembled elements are reassembled on site – table legs, shelves, glass holders, etc. Special attention is given to the proper placement of refrigeration units, which, as recommended by the manufacturer, are left to stand for a certain period before being switched on again.
For additional assembly services or space measurements, furniture assembly services are available. Our team assists with temporary inventory arrangement if additional work or final decoration needs to be awaited. Upon completion, the space is left clean and ready for use.

The complexity of the move increases with the number of specific and delicate items, the need for disassembly and assembly, as well as additional services such as packing or storage. Additional factors affecting the price may include moves from the city center (access restrictions, permits), multi-story buildings without elevators, and the need to protect common areas in multi-tenant buildings.
An assessment is conducted free of charge after inspecting the premises, during which a detailed equipment list is compiled and a plan for each phase is created. For an approximate estimate, you can use the free moving assessment or consult the moving price list. Before the final offer, we advise clients to precisely specify all items being moved, including small inventory and decorations.
The moving date is arranged through direct contact after assessment and review of all details. The client proposes a time frame that best suits their business operations and obligations. It is recommended to schedule the move with minimal downtime for the restaurant or café, so night and weekend slots are common practice in this industry. When equipment is not immediately brought into the new premises, it is possible to organize temporary storage until the space preparation is complete.
