Planning to relocate your auto repair workshop in Belgrade? Our team organizes secure transportation of tool cabinets, compressors, workbenches, and other service equipment, with detailed preparation and logistics at every location.
Auto repair shop relocations require expert planning, protection of service equipment, and careful transport. Our Belgrade-based team has experience relocating tool cabinets, compressors, workbenches, lifts (upon assessment), and various parts, ensuring maximum safety when handling heavy and bulky items. Every phase of the move is tailored to the internal organization and type of equipment – from assessment to placement at the new location. For compressors and heavy service equipment, we apply special cargo moving methods.
Relocating an auto repair shop begins with analyzing the space and equipment, planning the route, and precisely determining the loading sequence based on the type and size of service equipment. Special attention is given to protecting tool cabinets, workbenches, and compressors, which are often heavy, bulky, or contain sensitive components. The process organization depends on the workshop size – smaller shops usually have more compact equipment, while larger facilities require moving multiple workstations and specialized machines. Access to the premises, vehicle approach possibilities, and obstacles such as stairs and narrow passages directly influence the choice of carrying and packing techniques.
In addition to the basic move, you can arrange additional services such as temporary equipment storage or professional packing of small parts and consumables. These options are important for shops with a larger number of spare parts and consumables.
We transport tool cabinets of various sizes, air compressors, workbenches with drawers, metal benches, service carts, vehicle parts, consumables (oils, filters, small parts), as well as certain types of lifts after prior transport assessment. Cabinets and benches often contain complete tool sets, which are additionally secured against falling out and damage. Scratch-prone surfaces are protected, and movable parts (drawers, doors, wheels) are fixed during transport. Spare parts are prepared through moving packing with clear box labeling.
Describe what your move includes. We provide you with a transparent estimate, answers to all your questions, and the expected moving costs. Our expert's visit to your address is also free of charge.
Before the move begins, a free cargo inspection is conducted to precisely determine the number and weight of tool cabinets, compressors, types of lifts, dimensions of workbenches, quantities of consumables and spare parts, as well as other elements (e.g., mobile battery chargers). The assessment also includes checking the possibility of moving equipment through existing passages, stairs, doors, and ramps, as well as vehicle access to the premises. This phase enables the proper choice of vehicle (van or truck), preparation of necessary aids, and determination of the number of workers.
After the field assessment, the client receives a proposed moving plan and recommendations for additional services, such as moving with workers. For larger workshops, a joint site visit with the responsible person is recommended to clearly agree on the loading order and unloading priorities.
Equipment protection includes using foils, sponges, blankets, and straps to keep every item safe during transport and handling. Tool cabinets are emptied of the heaviest tools if needed for easier carrying and additionally secured. Movable parts of cabinets and benches (drawers, doors) are fastened with straps or ties, while sensitive items (measuring instruments, electric tools) are specially packed and clearly labeled.
Equipment in the service area is transported using hand carts, rollers, or carrying straps, with floor, threshold, and wall protection against damage. The distribution of workers depends on the weight and size of the equipment: heavier tool cabinets and workbenches require at least two workers and additional aids, while smaller items and boxes are carried manually. The removal order is such that the largest and heaviest pieces go out first, followed by smaller elements.
In buildings with difficult access (narrow passages, staircases), special logistics are used – temporary ramps, floor protection, and coordination with building management to remove obstacles. For smaller garages, the procedure is more flexible, but care is still taken to protect the space and ensure the safety of all participants.
We organize moves in Belgrade through six simple steps, from a free estimate and scheduling to safe transport and completion of the move at the new address.
See all 14 steps, from the first conversation with the client to the successfully completed move.
See the move step by stepHeavier and larger equipment such as tool cabinets, compressors, and workbenches are loaded first, along the vehicle’s side walls for stability. All items are additionally secured with straps and protective barriers to prevent shifting. Smaller items, boxes with spare parts, and consumables are placed on top or in separate compartments for easier unloading. For more about transportation, see transport, shipping, and moving.
At the new address, unloading is carried out according to the defined layout and type of service equipment. Larger pieces such as workbenches, tool cabinets, and compressors are removed first and placed in designated spots for a quick resumption of work. Remaining equipment – boxes with spare parts, small tools, and consumables – is arranged by agreement to facilitate unpacking and sorting.
If there is good access to the building, unloading is faster, while for services with more complex layouts or space adaptations, temporary storage of equipment may be necessary. For temporary storage of excess equipment, more information is available at storage of items and goods. Special care is taken to arrange all elements to speed up workshop organization and enable work continuation. When the new workshop is not ready, equipment storage can facilitate moving in multiple phases.

The guys were great! They arrived quickly, professional, polite, and it was no problem that they carried the machine into a building without an elevator. Great experience!Reviews on Google profile
The price of moving an auto service is determined by the number and weight of tool cabinets, dimensions and weight of workbenches, quantity and type of tools, number of boxes with spare parts, as well as the presence of specific machines (e.g., compressors, lifts). Access to the building, floor level, availability of elevator or ramp, and parking possibilities for the transport vehicle directly affect the scope of work and duration of the move. For larger services or more complex layouts, estimating time and number of workers requires additional planning.
An estimate is provided after an on-site inspection and analysis of all factors. For a free estimate and advice, visit free moving estimate.
The moving date for the auto service is scheduled by phone or email after the client provides basic information about the facility (address, type of workshop, space size), a rough list of equipment, and interior photos. It is important to specify special requirements – priority workstations, access restrictions, special unloading conditions, or equipment layout at the new location.
The client prepares a detailed equipment list, photos of the space, and ensures free access to the facility and parking for the transport vehicle on the moving day. The disassembly of hydraulic installations and special lifts is performed by an authorized service or qualified personnel, in accordance with safety regulations. Our team handles physical manipulation and protection but does not disassemble pressurized systems or electrical installations. For additional advice and experiences, read our moving practices.
