Our moving team is the backbone of every relocation – ten experienced workers form the foundation of our operations, with clear organization and coordination on site. Our three teams have experience in various types of moves, including apartment, house, and office relocations. Below, we present how responsibilities are divided, work is organized, and roles are assigned among employees. For moves with workers, the number of team members is determined based on the volume of items and carrying conditions.

  • 10 experienced workers – all drive, pack, and unpack items.
  • 3 teams – team composition adapts to the job, each with a leader for the day.
  • 4 assemblers – specialized in furniture disassembly and assembly.
  • 2 heavy load specialists – use straps, forklifts, and transport platforms.
  • 1 sales manager – independently organizes appointments, inspections, and team schedules.

Assemblers and heavy load specialists are part of the total ten workers, not additional staff. Below we explain their tasks and organizational structure in more detail.

Our Team: Ten Experienced Moving Workers

Each of the ten workers has at least five years of moving experience, with some exceeding fifteen years. Teams are formed according to the specific job requirements, with clear division of responsibilities.

Workers have practical experience in packing, transporting, and protecting various items – from furniture to more demanding loads. They are accustomed to working in apartments, houses, offices, and warehouses. Long-term collaboration and shared experience enable the team to function as a cohesive unit, evident in every stage of the move, from preparation to final unpacking.

How the Manager Organizes Appointments and Team Schedules

The sales manager is responsible for scheduling and team allocation. Based on client agreements and the complexity assessment, the number of workers, timing, and necessary equipment for each move are determined. The manager knows each team member’s specific skills and creates an optimal schedule accordingly, ensuring that specializations, such as assemblers or heavy load specialists, are properly assigned. Experienced assemblers perform furniture disassembly and assembly when large pieces cannot safely pass through the premises.

  • The manager assesses how many workers are needed for the move based on the size and weight of items.
  • Team selection is made according to workers’ specializations in packing, assembly, or heavy loads.
  • Moving appointments are scheduled to avoid overlaps and ensure optimal coordination.
  • Each team receives clear instructions and contact persons for communication during the move.

Three teams and a leader for each team on site

Ten workers are organized into three teams, whose composition can be adjusted according to the requirements of each individual move. If necessary, assemblers and heavy load specialists are assigned to the team. This structure allows for optimal coverage of all tasks.

For each move, a team leader is appointed who directs the work, gives instructions, and monitors the progress. The team leader is the main contact person for the client and is responsible for resolving all challenges on site. They track progress and adjust the task schedule as needed to keep every segment under control and to address any issues immediately. Practical examples from team operations can be found in our case studies of moves.

Our workers' experience: from five to over fifteen years

All team members have at least five years of experience in moving, while some have been working in this field for over fifteen years. Thanks to this combination of knowledge and daily practice, every detail – from protecting items to choosing the optimal route – is handled routinely but with special care. Experience enables recognizing challenges during the planning phase and proactively solving potential problems.

  • Experienced workers know how to carefully carry furniture through narrow hallways and staircases
  • They accurately assess transport risks and select appropriate equipment for each situation
  • They adapt their approach to different buildings, whether old structures or new constructions
  • Years of experience contribute to safer and more organized work.

All workers drive, pack, and unpack items

All team members can drive, which facilitates transport organization and task distribution. Each worker has experience in packing and unpacking items, speeding up the process and reducing the risk of damage. Regardless of additional specialization, every member can participate in basic moving tasks, from driving to packing.

Workers are assigned among themselves during a move to synchronize packing, loading, and unloading without delays. This way, the team can adjust the pace and order of tasks according to on-site conditions.

Four professional assemblers and furniture disassembly

Four team members specialize in assembling and disassembling furniture. Their role is to take apart and reassemble wardrobes, beds, and complex office furniture pieces at the new location. Assemblers are an integral part of the teams, and their expertise is utilized for complex or bulky items.

  • Assemblers mark each furniture part for easier and faster reassembly
  • They pay special attention to protecting sensitive surfaces during transport
  • During reassembly, they check the assembly order and arrangement of parts
  • They ensure proper furniture assembly at the new address.

Assemblers also participate in other tasks during the move.

Two experts in heavy loads and special equipment

Two workers specialize in carrying heavy and bulky items such as safes, pianos, and massive office equipment. They use professional straps, an American forklift, and transport skates, combined with careful planning and appropriate protective measures. For particularly heavy items, we engage workers experienced in special cargo relocations.

During special cargo relocations, experts carefully plan the route for moving items and use appropriate equipment to ensure safe transport to the vehicle. In cooperation with the team leader and manager, they determine the order and method of transport, along with a detailed risk assessment. Overlapping specializations also allow other team members to assist with moving heavy items when needed.

How personnel are allocated based on the complexity of the move

The team composition depends on the type of property, the quantity and type of furniture, as well as any needs for disassembly or transport of special cargo. The manager and team leader coordinate the allocation of workers, with the ability to respond quickly to unforeseen situations. If additional assembly or expert assistance is required during the move, the schedule is immediately adjusted.

  • For apartments with a larger number of wardrobes, a team with assemblers is assigned
  • For company relocations, workers experienced in moving office equipment are engaged
  • Heavier items require specialists with appropriate equipment
  • The schedule is adapted to the scope and complexity of the specific job.
